-A pencil eraser will remove heel marks from a floor (tile, linoleum, and wood).
-Remove scuff marks and grease spills on floors, sprinkle with baking soda and wipe with a damp cloth.
-Clean and shine vinyl or linoleum floors with 1 gallon of water and 1/2 cup vinegar in a bucket, mop with the solution.
-Using distilled water to clean your carpets works so much better than using regular tap water. It will get the dirt out better than any soap solution. Add a little vinegar to kill any bacteria.
Remove common stains on rugs:
Catsup/Ketchup stains, remove by sponging mix of 1 cup vinegar and 2 cups water into rug. Frequently wring out the sponge until the stain is gone.
Chewing gum: saturate area with hot vinegar and let sit for a minute or two, then carefully pull at the gum til it all comes out.
